艺术与设计学院是以艺术为基础，以设计为主线，融合环境设计、视觉传达设计和动画三个本科专业，涵盖从二维、三维到多维，即从平面、立体和多维（动态）的学科专业群。以“发展个性、倡导创新”为理念，注重学生的实践、创新和创业能力培养，在广告、装饰装修、新媒体、动漫影视等领域发挥重要的作用。

College of Art and Design is based on art，focusing on design and it integrates Environment Design, Visual Communication Design and Animation Design. These three undergraduate programs is the discipline specialty group that covers Two-dimensional, Three-dimensional to Multi-dimensional dynamic. Our college always persist in the “Developing individuality and advocating creativity” tenet to focus on improving students’ ability on practicing, innovating and how to start a business. Especially in advertising design, interior design, new media design animation film design and other fields play an important role.

★动画专业Specialty of Animation

动画专业是培养适应社会经济与文化发展需要，德、智、体全面发展，掌握动画专业学科基本理论和基本知识，具备一定的创新精神和专业技术应用能力，能在动画公司、游戏公司、广告公司、网络公司和电视媒体行业工作岗位上，从事动画制作、漫画插画设计、动画影视制作和后期合成等生产一线的应用技术型人才。

Undergraduates in specialty of animation study basic theories, knowledge and skills of animation discipline for the needs of economic and social developments in Liaoning and Northeast part. Through your studies, you will have creativities and professional skills and enable to engage in front-line positions, involving in animation/film/television making, illustration design, after effects and so on, in the companies of animation, game, advertisement, network and TV media.

主要课程：动画艺术概论、动画原画设计、动画视听语言、动画剧本与分镜设计、二维动画技术、三维动画技术、后期合成等。动画专业每学期增加实践周，开设了民间故事采集、角色设计实训、场景设计实训、综合训练、动画实验短片制作等特色课程。

Core curriculum: Introduction to arts of animation, Original drawing design, Animation audio-visual language, Animation script and storyboard, 2D animation technology, 3D animation technology, After effects. In addition, special courses, such as folk tale collections, training of character design, and training of scenic design, general training and short film of animation are offered at practical weeks every semester.

★视觉传达设计Visual Communication Design

 视觉传达设计专业是研究视觉传达设计的原理和规律，使学生掌握设计实践能力的应用性本科专业，培养具有较强的创作与应用能力，能够在品牌设计、媒体传播等一线岗位上从事设计的应用型技术人才。

The major of Visual Communication Design is the applicative undergraduate program is researching principle and regularity of visual communication design to make students master practical ability of design. This major is dedicated to training application-oriented talents with strong creative and applicative abilities, as well as designing in frontline positions such as brand design and new media communication.  

主要课程：大众传播学、设计概论、造型基础、平面构成、色彩构成、快题设计表现、装饰与图案、图形创意、编排与印刷、信息可视化设计、包装设计、广告设计、企业形象识别设计、书籍装帧设计、新媒体设计。

Core curriculum:Mass-communication, Design Introduction, Modeling Foundation, Plane Construction, Color Composition, Sketch Design Presentation, Decoration and Pattern, Graphic Creativity, Layout and Printing Design, Infographic Design, Packaging Design, Advertising Design, CIS Design, Book Binging Design, New Media Design.

★环境设计专业Specialty of Environmental Design

环境设计专业是研究环境艺术设计基本原理和规律的应用型本科专业，培养适应辽宁乃至东北区域经济社会发展需要，掌握环境设计的基本理论和基本知识，具备环境设计相关领域的设计实践操作和设计创新能力，能够在装饰、装修行业的设计机构一线岗位从事设计工作，具有良好竞争力与可持续发展的应用技术型人才。设有“室内环境设计”、“室外环境设计”和“室内外软环境设计”三个模块（专业）方向。

Specialty of environmental design is an applied undergraduate that studies the basic principles, regulations, knowledge and skills of environmental art design for the needs of economic and social developments in Liaoning and Northeast part. Through your studies, you will have design practical abilities and creativities in the field of environmental design. And you can do design work with competitiveness and sustainable developments of applied technologies in front-line positions of design institutions, such as decoration companies, construction agencies. It has three modules, including indoor environmental design, outdoor environmental design and indoor& outdoor design of soft environment.

主要课程：透视学、艺术设计史、造型基础、人体工程学、平面构成、色彩构成、立体构成、电脑辅助环境设计1、室内外手绘效果图技法、建筑与环境设计初步。

Core curriculum: The perspective, History of art design, Foundation of modeling, Human engineering, Plane construction, Color construction, Three-dimensional construction, Design of computer-aided Environment I, Hand-painted effect drawing techniques of indoors&outdoors,  Design basics of buildings and environment.
